    From the Home screen, scroll to Settings and press the X button.

    Scroll to System and press the X button.

  • 3.

    Scroll to Power Saving.

  • 4.

    Press the Right button, then scroll to Features Available in Rest Mode and press the X button.

  • 5.

    Scroll to Supply Power to USB Ports and press the X button.

  • 6.

    Scroll to Always and press the X button.

  • 7.

    Put the console into Rest Mode.

  • 8.

    Connect the controller to the console.

  • 9.

    The light bar on the controller will slowly blink orange.

    When charging is complete the light bar will turn off.
