Setting up cable or set top box

1. Ensure your Cable or Set Top Box is connected to the power and TV aerial.

2. Insert a HDMI cable into the HDMI Out port on the back of your Cable or Set Top Box.

3. Insert the other end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI In on the back of the Xbox One S.

4. To connect the Xbox One S to the TV, insert another HDMI cable into HDMI Out on the back of the Xbox One S.

5. Connect the other end of this HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of the TV.

6. Press the Guide button.

7. Scroll to My Games & apps and press the A button.

8. Scroll to Apps and press the A button.

9. Scroll to OneGuide and press the A button.

10. Scroll to Set up your cable or satellite box and press the A button.

11. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

12. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

13. Enter your Postal Code, scroll to Enter and press the A button.

14. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

15. Press the A button, to open the drop down menu.

16. Scroll to desired the desired option (E.g. Freeview) and press the A button.

17. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

18. Press the A button to open the drop down menu.

19. Scroll to desired the desired option (E.g. Freeview West OTA Antenna) and press the A button.

20. You cable or satellite box is now set up. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

21. You can set up Cortana to turn your Xbox One S on.

22. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

23. Press the A button to open the drop down menu.

24. If you do not see you TV brand in the list, scroll to I do not see my brand and press A button.

25. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your TV manufacturer. Scroll to Enter and press the A button.

26. Scroll to Next and press the A button.

27. Scroll to Send command and press the A button.

28. Scroll to the correct answer (E.g Yes) and press the A button.

29. Scroll to Send command and press the A button.

30. Scroll to the correct answer (E.g Yes) and press the A button.

31. Your TV is now set up.

32. Scroll to the desired option, scroll to Next and press the A button.
