1. With the console turned off to standby press and hold the Power button until you have heard 2 beeps. One initial beep and another about 7 seconds later. Once you have heard the second beep release the Power button.

2. When prompted on screen, connect the controller via USB.

3. Press the PS button.

4. Scroll to Rebuild Database and press the X button.

5. The new database will be rebuilt. It may take some time depending on how the amount of data it stores.
