First Time Set Up
1.
Press the power button.
2. The PS5 will turn on.
3.
Plug the cable into the controller, then plug the other end into the USB slot on the front of the PS5.

Press the PS button on the controller.
5.
Scroll to the desired language, then press the X button.
6.
Press Up or Down to adjust the display area to the desired size, then select OK and press the X button.
7.
Insert a game disc to install it while the setup continues (not available on digital only console) or select Continue Without Disc and press the X button.
8.
Scroll to the desired power option (E.g., Low Power Use), then press the X button.
9. Scroll to OK and press the X button.
10.
Scroll to I Agree and press the X button.
11.
Scroll to Confirm and press the X button.
12. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your Sign-in ID and Password, then select Sign In and press the X button.
13. Press the X button.
14.
Scroll to the desired option (E.g., Do This Later) and press the X button.
15.
Your Playstation 5 is now setup.
