Mute the Microphone on the controller
1.
To mute the microphone, press the Mic button.
The Mic button will illuminate orange.
2. To unmute the microphone, press the Mic button.
The illuminated Mic button will go off.

Alternately, press the PS button.
4.
Scroll to Mic and press the X button.
5.
Scroll to Mute and press the X button.
