Overheating warning
Issue:
The console is overheating. This problem is sometimes unresolvable, but ensure the steps below are followed:
1. Your PS5 will display a warning on the screen. Press the X button.
2.
Press the PS button.
3.
Scroll to Power and press the X button.
4.
Scroll to Turn off PS5 and press the X button.
5.
The console will shut down.
6. Unplug the console and leave for 30 — 60 minutes.
7.
Ensure the console is well ventilated. Place at least 100mm away from a wall surface, place on a carpet or rug or placed in a narrow space.
8.
Plug back in to the mains and press the Power button to restart the console.

If the problem persists, contact your local retailer.
