1. From the Home screen Dashboard press Up on the controller.

2. Scroll to Settings and press the X button.

3. Scroll to System Software Update and press the X button.

4. Scroll to Next and press the X button.

5. Scroll to Accept and press the X button.

6. Scroll to Update and press the X button.

7. The console will now download the new System Software.

8. To install the new System Software, from the Home screen Dashboard press Up on the controller.

9. Scroll to Notifications and press the X button.

10. Scroll to Downloads.

11. Scroll across to the System Software download and press the X button.

12. Scroll to Next and press the X button.

13. Scroll to Update and press the X button.

14. Your console will now begin installing your new software, when complete the console will restart.

15. Your console will now install the new System Software. Once the installation is complete your console will restart automatically.
