Cannot sign in to the PSN Network

- 1. From the PS3 XMB Home screen scroll to Settings.
- 2. Scroll to Network Settings and press the X button.
- 3. Scroll to Internet Connection Setup and press the X button.
- 4. If you are using a wired connection make sure you have an Ethernet cable connected, press the X button to continue.
- 5. Scroll to Custom and press the X button.
- 6. Scroll to Wireless and press the X button.

Scroll to Scan and press the X button.
- 8.
Scroll to the wireless network you wish to connect to and press the X button.
- 9.
Scroll Right on the controller to continue.
- 10.
Select a security setting (E.g. WPA-PSK / WPA2-PSK) and press the X button.
- 11. Press the X button to enter your wireless password.
- 12. Enter your wireless password and press the Start button.
- 13.
Scroll Right on the controller to continue.
- 14.
In the IP Address Settings, scroll to Manual and press the X button.
- 15.
In the DHCP Host Name, scroll to Do Not Set and press the X button.
- 16.
In the DNS Settings, scroll to Automatic and press the X button.
- 17.
In the MTU Settings, scroll to Manual and press the X button.
- 18.
Scroll to enter the code 1470 and press the X button.
- 19.
Select Do Not Use and press the X button.
- 20.
Scroll to Disable and press the X button.
- 21.
Press the X button to save your settings.
You will now be able to connect to the PlayStation Network. Note: Once you have successfully connected to the PlayStation Network you will be able to change your MTU setting back to 1500.
