  • 1. After turning your console on, you will need to synchronize your PS4 controller. Do this by connecting the controller via the USB cable.
  • 2. Plug the USB cable into the front of the console.
  • 3. Your controller will now be synced. Press the PS button.
  • 4. Scroll to the desired Language and press the X button.
  • 5.

    Scroll to the desired Internet Connection option and press the X button.

  • 6. If you select Wi-Fi, select the Wi-Fi network you want to join by scrolling to it and press the X button.
  • 7. Enter Wi-Fi password then press the R2 button.
  • 8. Scroll to OK and press the X button.
  • 9. Connect PlayStation Camera will be displayed. If you do not have a PlayStation camera, select Skip and press the X button.
    Note: If you do have a camera connect it now, scroll to Next and press the X button to set it up.
  • 10. Scroll to the desired time zone and press the X button.
  • 11. Select the correct Date and Time, scroll to Next and press the X button.
  • 12. Press the X button.
  • 13. Scroll to Next and press the X button.
  • 14. Your first time set up is now complete, press the X button.
